The International Girls in ICT Day, which is celebrated this year for the second time, has the aim to introduce girls with the opportunities for education and work in the field of Information and Communications Technologies. New technologies are constantly changing the world we live in: they are improving the quality of life; increasing the number of the literate people; opening new, so far non-existing, working places; providing numerous challenges and changing our perception of the world.

International Girls in ICT Day in fact, has the aim to make everyone realize that girls are also able to use the new technologies, and that, due to the fact that girls are good at Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Informatics, we have new technologies which change the world on a daily basis.

Join the celebration of the International Girls in ICT Day, and make a video which lasts up to 45 seconds, with one or both of the following themes:

1. Why I love Internet?
2. What I use my mobile phone for?

Here is what you should do with your video response to the given theme(s), and with the help of your teacher:

1. Upload it to the website www.sendspace.com
2. Type the title of the chosen theme, your name and surname, in the field „Description”
3. Upon the successful upload, you will receive a "download link" for video to your mail
4. Send the e-mail with the chosen theme in the „subject”, to the following address: girlsday@mtt.gov.rs. Insert the following information in the message:
   - name and surname,
   - date of birth,
   - name and address of the elementary school you attend, and the class you are in,
   - the link for download of your video from the website sendspace.com.

Join the celebration on April 23, 2012, in Belgrade, together with your girl-friends from the class.
