State Secretary for Digital Agenda, Jasna Matić, welcomed 270 girls from all parts of Serbia, at the manifestation regarding the celebration of the International Girls in ICT Day.
Right upon their arrival to Belgrade, the girls had the opportunity to talk to Jasna Matić and successful women from the ICT field, and to gain a better insight into their work through their experiences. The girls also met the students and professors from the technical faculties, who introduced them with the opportunities for studying and education within ICT field.

For this week, the Gender Center and the Agency have planned numerous activities: organizing of visits for the children and youth to the leading public and private enterprises, and to the state and private faculties from the field of Information-Communications Technologies (ICT), as well as the workshops and lectures for youth, with a view of promoting the gender equality in ICT field, and greater involvement of girls in this field (the lectors are women professionals who work in this field), media promotion of this Day and making of posters for the promotion of this Day.
